It's an all women affair in Kochi
Kochi, Feb 2 With B. Sandhya taking over as the new Inspector General of Police, central range, on Monday, women hold all the key posts in this commercial capital of Kerala. The other key posts held by women include District Collector M. Beena, Kochi Mayor Mercy Williams, Greater Cochin Development Authority (GCDA) chairperson M.C. Josephine and Ernakulam district panchayat president P.S. Shaila.
When this was pointed out to Sandhya, she said: "At critical mass, if women are there, things can be pushed much faster." |
