India-RFID Solutions Pavilion soon

Washington: The first-ever "India-RFID (radio frequency identification) Solutions Pavilion" would be held at the upcoming RFID Journal Live event at Orlando, Florida in April.

Being hosted by Essen RFID, a leading RFID OEM (original equipment manufacturer) provider, the pavilion would bring together the leading Indian RFID solutions providers under one umbrella, the organisers announced on Tuesday.

"The theme of the India RFID Solutions Pavilion is to showcase India as a next-gen R&D solutions hub in the RFID space," S Shrinivas, Senior Business Development Manager, Essen RFID said.

The pavilion will also mark the emergence of Indian IT companies in the RFID space that have very quickly moved up the RFID value chain from being information gatherers in RFID to building business cases to optimise supply chain efficiencies to setting up RFID centric labs, Shrinivas added.

Essen has partnered with RFID Journal, a leading independent media and events company devoted solely to RFID for the "India RFID Solutions Pavilion."
