New Delhi, March 14: Thailand does not enjoy the 'No Emigration Check Required’ status any more. According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs, the Government of India has withdrawn the exemption given from the operation of Section 22 of the Emigration Act, 1983 to every citizen of India going to Thailand with immediate effect.

Kalam leaves for Myanmar, Mauritius
